Equipping business and trades people for works of service
The whole church is used by God to make disciples. Churches are equipping for workplace ministries (ie where people are working currently) more and more.
We exist to catalyse the next step: helping the church to reach out to surrounding communities using business, and to send business and trades people with the good news of Christ to places where he is not known. This could be part of a church planting strategy, through a mission agency or sometimes independently.
From tradespeople to managers, directors to administrators, everyone can play a role!
At the sharp tip of the spear…

If not you, who?
For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?

Examples of Mission through Business
The coffee shop. And community space. And training centre.
Many churches open a charitable coffee shop. But how about a sustainable business in the community, building relationships, running events, creating jobs, sharing Christ?
Taking on a job in a country where very few know Christ
Global presence in certain jobs gives opportunity. Business people are scattering to countries around the globe with their vocation, following and sharing Christ in that new setting and being witnesses to him.
Entrepreneurship, crossing barriers to build relationships and share Christ
Could business and trades people be sent by the church across cultural and geographic barriers? Setting up new businesses in new places. Creating new jobs, apprenticeships and value. Building authentic relationships. Sharing and witnessing to Christ.
From factories to agriculture, from microfinance to IT, Jesus followers from all over the world are crossing barriers longing to see many more people come to Christ in repentance and faith.
